Renault's replacement to the Megane hatchback offers nearly 300 miles of change and supports 130kW fast charging. Is now the time to switch to electric?
Well, soon that might not be much of a choice. The Megane E-Tech Electric is built on a new production platform that will underpin most Renault EVs in the near future. That means the Megane will no longer be available in piston-powered form, but you do get two battery options with up to 292 miles of electric running. It's practical, too, with up to 440 litres of storage space and a flat floor that makes the cabin feel much more open than the current model. That's all thanks to an ultra-thin battery that Renault is very proud of, and we'll cover it as part of our list of 5 things you need to know about the Megane E-Tech Electric.
